Experience the Mind-Body-Spirit Connection

Yoga has the power to support every stage of life - from building strength and flexibility to managing chronic conditions and reducing the effects of stress. At The Heart Center, we offer group yoga classes, private yoga instruction, and individualized yoga therapy to meet you wherever you are on your wellness journey.

Private yoga instruction is ideal for those who want personalized guidance to develop or deepen their yoga practice. During a private session, your instructor will tailor each session to your experience level, goals, and interests, helping you build confidence and move safely at your own pace. You can schedule private sessions with any one of our highly-trained instructors.

Yoga therapy is a specialized, one-on-one therapeutic process that applies the principles and practices of yoga to address specific health concerns. Through individualized movement, breathwork, meditation, and other evidence-informed techniques, our providers create a plan designed to support healing, improve function, and enhance overall well-being. How Yoga Therapy Can Help

Each Yoga Therapy session begins with an understanding of your needs, health history, and goals, and evolves as your body and nervous system respond.

Yoga therapy works with your body and mind’s natural capacity to heal and regulate.

It can help with:

  • Stress, anxiety, and overwhelm

  • Depression and grief

  • Acute & chronic pain (back, hip, shoulder, knees)

  • Injury, surgery recovery, or illness

  • Neurological conditions, brain injury, stroke recovery

  • Cancer treatment and recovery

  • Healthy aging and mobility

  • Arthritis, osteoporosis, and other chronic conditions

It can also be a meaningful complement to medical care or talk therapy, and is appropriate for children, teens, and adults.
